Hello, World—This Is My Story

I’m a medically retired Army veteran who once believed strength was measured only in push-ups and rifle drills. Life had other plans. After six years of service, I came home to a marriage that chipped away at my soul for fifteen long years—emotional, verbal, and sometimes physical abuse that left invisible scars deeper than any battlefield wound. Infertility was the cruelest twist: month after month of negative tests, doctor visits, and whispered prayers while the man beside me grew colder.

Then came crypto.

A late-night scroll, a $50 experiment, a rabbit hole of blockchains and cold wallets. What started as curiosity became my lifeline. By 2022, those early investments had grown enough to buy my freedom. I walked away with my three beautiful children—adopted after years of fertility heartbreak—and the keys to a cavernous, echoing house that felt more like a second chance than a home.
